Aberdeenshire Third Sector Week: Mental Health, Health & Wellbeing and Men’s Sheds
Good health is about the mind as well as the body - feeling physically fit, and feeling good about ourselves, means that we can go and achieve more of the things we want to do in life. Today we hear from various Mental Health and Wellbeing service providers and how they have assisted those in the community, particularly during the pandemic.
You can also view the third of our five Grow Your Group presentations: Evidencing Need.
For today’s full programme including films from Stonehaven, Inverurie and Aberchirder Men’s Sheds and how they support vulnerable or lonely men within their communities,
Mental Health
Pillar Kincardine
Pillar Kincardine is a small voluntary organisation based in Stonehaven, Scotland, supporting people in and around Kincardine and the Mearns who are coping with serious emotional, social or mental health difficulties. Due to COVID19 their service has had to adapt and is a little different from the time this film was made but they continue to provide essential support at a time their service is #nevermoreneeded
