The St John’s Hill Wind Farm Community Fund opens for applications on 1 January 2023. Applications can be made from not-for-profit groups and organisations based in the following Community Council areas:
- Arbuthnott
- Catterline, Kinneff & Dunnottar
The energy company, Quintas Energy, has established a community fund which will see grants available to support local community projects every year during the lifetime of the St John’s Hill Wind Farm. In 2023 there will be £28,482.30 available to Arbuthnott, and £11,533.13 to Catterline, Kinneff & Dunnottar.
The fund is administered by Kincardineshire Development Partnership (KDP) and managed by a Decision-Making Panel made up of representatives from the local Community Councils.
The fund is open for applications from 1 January 2023 to 31 March 2023. The Decision-Making Panel, along with a representative from Kincardineshire Development Partnership (KDP), will then meet to consider applications.
