- community hubs
- sports facilities
- faith buildings.
Up to 80% of eligible costs can be funded up to a maximum grant amount of £80,000. The fund will be open to applications until the end of October 2025, or until funding is fully allocated, whichever is sooner.

Community groups and organisations across the UK can apply for grants of up to £3,000 to help people with Parkinson’s to become and stay active.
Funding is for new activities that encourage people affected by Parkinson’s to participate in physical activity and sports or increased participation in these areas. This could be anything fun that encourages people, particularly those from isolated and ethnic communities, to get moving such as a walking group, a dance class, or playing table tennis.
The funding, which is made available through the Parkinson’s UK Physical Activity Grants Programme, can be used to cover costs such as equipment, facility hire, maintenance of equipment, coaching fees, and training.
Applications can be made at any time until all of the funding has been allocated.

This year Nourish Scotland is undertaking a project to co-develop guidelines with funders in relation to work which tackles food insecurity. They want to recruit a panel of people with lived experience of using food support in Scotland with a view to facilitate a dialogue with interested funders later this year, to create better rules and ideas for how money should be given to help stop food insecurity.
Aim of conversations:
- To engage with a diverse group of people with lived experience (including people with no recourse to public funds) to work with a group of funders co-develop a set of principles for funding work in Scotland to reduce food insecurity.
- To see how the people who benefit from the money were helped
- To bring people together in a constructive conversation
What you will get out of joining these conversations:
- Opportunity to make positive change in your community
- Opportunity to work with like-minded people and build connections
- Opportunity to influence funders to improve food services
- Help build confidence in a supportive environment.
- You will receive £25 per hr for your participation and other expenses, e.g. travel expenses, internet access, childcare.
Please fill out the short application form to express an interest. All information will be confidential. Deadline for applications to be submitted is 9th June.
If you have a question, please contact Irina on 07726927232 or via email irina@nourishscotland.org.uk
