The KDP Grassroots Festival is coming soon!
The event takes place on Saturday 18th April from 10.30am – 3pm at Mearns Academy, and aims to bring local community groups together to celebrate success. There will be workshops and a networking cafe in the morning, then a light lunch followed by speakers. You can drop-in at a time that suits you or stay for the whole event.
We have more than a dozen local groups coming along to showcase what they have achieved recently. Learn more about the work of Paws on Plastic, Mill of Benholm Enterprise, Mearns and Coastal Healthy Living Network, The Community Collective, K&D Befrienders and many more.
We have an exciting variety of workshops planned, from Laughter Yoga to volunteer support; stress management to top tips on attracting funding. Be uplifted and inspired by our speakers; Amanda Greig from OaKley ASN and Birgit Itse the story architect.
